At Sydney Muscle & Joint Clinic our approach is consistent, high quality and based on the best scientific knowledge.
We deliver evidence-based practice for a range of musculoskeletal conditions, which means you get an approach that is effective, safe, and efficient.
High Quality Care
We deliver a guideline based approach using proven models of care and consensus statements put together by a panel of experts.
Research produces the most reliable knowledge about the likelihood that a given strategy will change a patient's current health status into desired outcomes.
The use of more effective assessment, treatment techniques and interventions means you'll get better faster, have less flare ups and remain pain free for longer.
We don't use instruments, needles, interferential or ultrasound as these have repeatedly been shown to be no better than placebo. We also don't waste time with stretching!

Sydney Muscle & Joint Physio Penrith was started by Toby Hudson who is a physiotherapist, accredited exercise physiologist and chiropractor based in Penrith. Sydney Muscle & Joint Physio Penrith has a philosophy deeply entrenched in using techniques supported by evidence, which means your physio in Penrith uses techniques proven to work. These include the use of multiple modalities including joint adjustments and joint mobilisations, McKenzie Method, muscle release techniques, nerve stretching and exercise prescription. Our services include treating common conditions, sports injuries, workcover injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, NDIS participants (we are NDIS registered) and women's health.
Conditions Treated At Sydney Muscle & Joint Physio Penrith
At Sydney Muscle & Joint Physio Penrith our physiotherapists treat all musculoskeletal conditions including neck pain and headaches, back pain, tendon injuries (tendinopathy), plantar fasciopathy, hip and knee pain and shoulder injuries.
Our Penrith physio's focus on impairment based therapy, which means whilst a diagnosis is helpful, our primary journey is to modify your impairments. These include pain, stiffness, tightness, weakness, reduced range of motion and poor balance and allows specific targeted interventions to be administered.
